Dear Members,
On behalf of IAM Local 1231 President Merry St. Bernard and the Executive Board, we are pleased to invite all members of our Local, along with your families and friends, to participate in the Labour Day Parade on Monday, September 7, 2026.
Let’s come together in solidarity to celebrate the strength of working people and proudly represent Local 1231.
Transportation Details
Complimentary bus transportation will be provided to and from the parade.
Departure: 7:00 a.m.
Bus pickup locations:
● District 78 – 557 Dixon Road
● 2580 Drew Road, Mississauga
The buses will transport participants downtown for the parade.
Return Transportation
The buses will depart from the downtown pickup location at 4:00 p.m. and return participants to the same pickup locations.
As a token of appreciation, free CNE admission passes will be provided to all members who participate in the Labour Day march.
We encourage all members, their families, and friends to join us for this important day of unity and solidarity. We look forward to marching together with pride.
