Women’s Committee of Local 1231 supports families through the ‘Toe Tally Drive.’

The Women’s Committee of IAM Local 1231, proudly donated new socks as part of the ‘Toe Tally Drive’ to the Salvation Army shelter, a local Family Life Resource Center at 535 Main Street North in Brampton. The Center provides residential services to families escaping abusive relationships and is currently supporting many babies and youngsters up to 17 years of age, who are in need of winter clothing.

Because this center only accepts new items, this donation helps ensure children stay warm, safe and cared for during the harsh winter months.

Local 1231 is honoured to support this important work and the families it serves.

“When you support others, you become a part of their success story.”
