BLACK HISTORY MONTH : Strength in Solidarity

Spread the love

Black History Month is a time to recognize the achievements, resilience, and contributions of Black people, including the vital role Black workers have played in building strong unions and advancing workers’ rights.
The labour movement has been shaped by Black leaders and members who fought for fairness, dignity, and justice—often in the face of systemic racism. Their legacy reminds us that solidarity must include action.
As a union, we recommit to challenging racism, uplifting Black voices, and fostering inclusive workplaces where every member is respected.

By learning from the past and standing together, we help create a more just future for all.
