Imagine the excitement of our LL1231 union members, when they were visited by the IAM’s 15th International President, Brian Bryant, whilst attending the Advanced Leadership class at the William Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland. In his address to the class he predicted that “this Grand Lodge Convention will be a historic convention.” The 41st Grand Lodge Convention will be held In New York city from the 1st-6th September.
Brian Bryant has been active in the labor movement for nearly 35 years, initiating into the IAM in 1989 when he joined IAM Local S6 while employed at Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. He became the IAM’s 15th International President on Jan. 1, 2024.
