The 26th Annual Dave Ritchie Invitational Golf Tournament, to benefit Guide Dogs of America (GDA) and their new partner Tender Loving Canines Assistance Dogs, was held at the Remington Parkview Golf and Country Club in Markham.
Union members from Local 1231 and District 78 took on the challenge and participated in the activities.
Dave Chartrand, the IAMAW Canadian General Vice- President, said in his correspondence to the membership, “This annual fundraiser for GDA has been our primary fundraising efforts for many years and we are proud that we collectively have helped so many members, friends and family, to find independence, help and comfort with special dogs – and they need our help.”
